    Accessibility Statement

    Performance Footing is committed to ensuring that PerformanceFooting.com (the "Site") is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We strive to provide an inclusive digital experience and to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the U.S. Department of Justice's April 2024 final rule on web accessibility for state and local governments and their commercial partners.

    1. Conformance Target

    We work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

    2. Measures We Take

    • Semantic HTML with descriptive headings, landmarks, and link text.
    • Keyboard navigation support, including a "Skip to main content" link.
    • Sufficient color contrast for text, controls, and meaningful imagery.
    • Alternative text on informative images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
    • Form fields with associated labels and accessible error messaging.
    • Captions or transcripts for video content where available.
    • Periodic manual and automated accessibility testing during development.

    3. Known Limitations

    Despite our efforts, some portions of the Site may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Known areas of partial conformance include:

    • Third-party content. Embedded video players, payment forms, mapping tools, and live chat are provided by third parties whose accessibility we do not directly control. We select vendors with strong accessibility track records and re-evaluate them periodically.
    • Legacy blog imagery. A small portion of historical blog content may contain images with generic alternative text. We are remediating these on an ongoing basis.
    • PDF spec sheets. Some downloadable PDF spec sheets are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. Accessible alternatives are available on request.

    4. Requesting Accessible Alternatives

    If you cannot access any content on the Site, or if you would like an accessible version of a document, product specification, or quote, please contact us using any of the methods below and we will provide the information to you in an accessible format at no charge.

    We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please let us know:

    We aim to acknowledge accessibility-related inquiries within two (2) business days and to provide a substantive response or remediation plan within ten (10) business days.
