Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information
The California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) gives California residents the right to direct a business to use or disclose their sensitive personal information only for the limited purposes specified in California Civil Code § 1798.121.
1. What "Sensitive Personal Information" Means
Under CCPA/CPRA, sensitive personal information includes (without limitation): government identifiers (SSN, driver's license, passport), account log-in credentials, financial account numbers, precise geolocation (within 1,850 feet), racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, the contents of mail, email, and text messages (other than those directed to the business), genetic data, biometric information for identification, and information about health, sex life, or sexual orientation.
2. Performance Footing's Current Practice
We do not currently use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose other than what is strictly necessary to provide the goods and services you have requested (for example, processing payment, fulfilling an order, or responding to a support inquiry), as permitted under § 1798.121(a). On that basis, Performance Footing is not, today, required to display a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link under the CPRA regulations.
We provide this page anyway, as a matter of transparency and to give you an unconditional, easy mechanism to record a preference in the event that our practices change.
3. How to Exercise This Right
To direct us to limit the use and disclosure of any sensitive personal information we hold about you to the purposes permitted under § 1798.121, please submit a request using our combined opt-out intake form and select the option "Limit the use and disclosure of my sensitive personal information (CCPA/CPRA)."

4. Response Time
We will acknowledge your request within ten (10) business days and substantively respond within forty-five (45) calendar days, in accordance with § 1798.130(a)(2). If we need an additional forty-five (45) days, we will notify you in writing with the reason for the extension.
5. Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide written, signed authorization and we may require you to verify your own identity directly before we process the request.
6. Related Rights
You also have the right to know what personal information we collect, to correct inaccurate information, to delete personal information, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. See our Privacy Policy and Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
