How does agility footing differ from horse arena footing?

The principles are similar — traction, cushion, drainage — but the ratios are different. Agility footing needs firmer traction for high-speed directional changes and a slightly different cushion profile for the repetitive jumping impact patterns of dogs.

Can your footing be used for both indoor and outdoor agility?

Yes. We spec indoor and outdoor installations separately to account for moisture exposure, but both use the same core materials and engineering principles. Many facilities use our footing in both settings.

How does the footing handle rain during outdoor trials?

Our drainage-engineered footing recovers quickly from rain. Lock moves water through the surface efficiently and prevents washout and material migration. Most courses are usable within 30–60 minutes of moderate rainfall.
