The case for the Arena Dragster

Why arena owners pick the Dragster

Five linear surfaces in a single pass — four harrow-tine bars plus a rear arena comb that follows the contour of your surface for a clean, level finish. Built for the operator who drags every ride, on the equipment most barns already own.

    • Revolutionary 5,000 lb side-wind depth control — 0″ to 4″ in one movement, no tools
    • Five linear surfaces: four harrow-tine bars + rear arena comb for floating and leveling
    • Swept-tine geometry increases cutting force vs. a standard harrow
    • 10″ × 4″ flat-free tires inside the frame — zero imprint on the arena
    • Replaceable hardened-steel tines and arena combs — wear parts, not throwaway parts
    • Laser-cut 1/4″ steel frame with durable black paint finish
    • Two widths (64″ and 76″) — match your arena size and pull vehicle

    Engineered efficiency

    Why consistent dragging matters

Stable footing keeps horses sound. A well-worn path or depression is bound to cause harm — building a dragging habit is healthy for your horses, your riders, and overall arena maintenance. Whether you have natural or synthetic footing, ruts can easily form, and the deeper they become the harder they are to fix.

    Stable footing

    safer rides, longer—lasting surface

    Healthy for your horses

no ruts, no hot spots, no compaction

    Timing is everything

drag often, drag light, never let ruts set

    Maintenance habit

How often should I drag my arena?

It depends on how many horses use the arena. With a single horse, dragging every 2–3 days will adequately redistribute and level the footing. The more horses you have, the more often you'll need to drag — consistency matters more than aggression. The important thing is to keep the surface as level as possible.

    Frequently asked questions

What can I pull the Arena Dragster with?

ATVs, UTVs, garden tractors, and compact tractors. Both the 64″ and 76″ models recommend a 600cc / 19 hp pull vehicle. The adjustable hitch aligns with virtually any vehicle.

How does the Depth Control System work?

A heavy-duty 5,000 lb side-wind jack lets you adjust grooming depth from 0″ to 4″ in one simple movement — no tools required. The rear arena comb follows the contour of the surface to leave a level, floated finish.

    What widths are available?

Two sizes: 64″ (CADSTR 64) and 76″ (CADSTR 76). Both are 62.5″ long with a durable black paint finish.

    Won't the tires leave tracks?

No. The 10″ × 4″ flat-free tires are located inside the frame for optimal coverage and do not leave an imprint on the arena. The 8″ × 2″ no-scuff wall wheel at the front helps you navigate without marking up the rail.

Are the tines and comb replaceable?

Yes. The 5/8″ × 7.5″ hardened-steel harrow tines and the 1/4″ plate-steel rear comb are wear parts and easily replaced.

    What's the lead time?

Groomers are built to order. Expect 4–6 weeks for production and delivery. Shipping is calculated prior to delivery.

How often should I drag my arena?

With one horse, every 2–3 days is enough. With more horses or heavier use, drag more often. The goal is to keep the surface as level as possible — consistency matters more than aggression.
